Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 20, 2026

FlowCheck ("we", "us", "our") provides synthetic monitoring for critical user journeys. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we keep it safe. We are based in Belgium and operate under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Data we collect

We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the service:

  • Contact details you provide through our forms or by email, such as your name, company, email address and website URL.
  • Monitoring configuration for your account, including the user journeys you ask us to watch and any test credentials you choose to share with us.
  • Operational data generated by monitoring runs, such as screenshots, traces, response times and error messages from your own site.
  • Basic technical data when you visit this website, such as your IP address and browser type, used only to keep the site secure and working.

2. How we use your data

  • To run the monitoring checks you have requested and alert you when a flow breaks.
  • To respond to your audit requests and support questions.
  • To improve the reliability and security of our service.
  • To meet our legal and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

3. Test credentials

If you provide credentials so we can monitor authenticated flows (for example login or checkout), we store them encrypted and use them only to run your checks. We strongly recommend using dedicated test accounts with limited permissions rather than production admin accounts.

4. Where data is processed

Monitoring runs execute in EU regions (Frankfurt and Ireland). We host data within the European Union wherever possible. Where a sub-processor is located outside the EU, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. Retention

We keep monitoring artefacts (screenshots, traces, logs) only as long as they are useful for diagnosing incidents, and then delete them on a rolling basis. Contact and account data is kept for the duration of our relationship and any period required by law.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at sales@flowcheck.be. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority.

7. Cookies

This marketing site uses only the cookies strictly necessary to load the page and remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic to this website, such as page views and which pages are most visited. It is privacy-friendly by design: it does not use cookies, does not track you across other sites, and does not build an individual profile of you. Data is collected in anonymised, aggregated form. You can read more in Vercel's analytics privacy documentation.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify account holders by email.
